I am writing in response to the unsubstantiated and unwarranted reference made to my Country by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Albania to the United Nations in his statement at the Security Council meeting held on 28 September 2022 on the agenda item "Situation in the Middle East: including the question of Palestine," wherein the Republic of Albania Representative levelled unfounded allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which are hereby categorically rejected.

As stated in the letter dated 10 September 2022 and addressed to the Security Council and the Secretary-General(S/2022/685), the Islamic Republic of Iran has categorically denied any involvement in the alleged cyber-attack on Albania's infrastructure.

I should be grateful if you would have the present letter circulated as a document of the Security Council.
